Touches

Installation | 2009

A grooved organic form, as an image of a flower or fruit, is repeated over and over again across some three meters, emerging in various surroundings, textures and substances. A journey dissociated from time and technology, anchored in concentrated attention to the inner, the feminine,  the hidden.  Seeking   the elusive boundary between internal and external, between self and surrounding  in each and every form.  At times it is refined and hinted, almost a continuation of the flower\ fruit and the setting, placed within a wrapping, a protective niche. At other times the border demarcates and distinguishes from the surroundings, sharp  and  clear, nearly wounding.
